In 1999, the burgeoning town of Strathmore yearned for a fresh dining experience, spurring the inception of our restaurant, driven by the desire to craft something truly unique.

One defining moment in our entrepreneurial journey was the realization that food has the power to unite. Witnessing people coming together, and sharing stories over a meal, fueled our passion to create not just a restaurant, but a gathering place.

Our proudest achievement as business owners was when the community rallied behind our vision. Seeing the citizens of Strathmore embrace our commitment to exceptional food and honour the town's rich railroad history at The Station was deeply gratifying on a personal level.

Looking ahead, our legacy is twofold. On one hand, we aspire for The Station to stand as a symbol of Strathmore's heritage, a landmark along Highway #1, echoing the town's connection to the CP Railroads. Equally important is our contribution to the community. During our time in business, we have provided employment opportunities for over 75 individuals, fostering growth and prosperity in our town.

Both a nod to the past and an investment in Strathmore’s future, Strathmore Station stands as a landmark and testament to investing in locally owned businesses. Peter Klironomos and Loizos Zakos’ story proves that creating community is essential for personal and community success. Visit Strathmore Station Restaurant & Pub today!
