Harmony Health and Fitness, owned by Mel Cornforth and Amanda Medeiros in Chestermere, is dedicated to strengthening community well-being: body, mind, and soul. They co-hosted Chestermere Moves, a free event showcasing local wellness providers, and regularly support causes like the Chestermere Women’s Crisis Society, Food Bank, and Centre for Suicide Prevention through fundraisers and donation drives.

Their outreach includes classes with the library, schools, Synergy, and other local groups, plus sponsoring sports teams and co-hosting World Suicide Prevention Day. Affordable, accessible movement and meaningful connection are at the heart of everything they do.

Little Lake Locals

Little Lake Locals, owned by Kim Soderberg McRae, is a powerful connector and community builder in Chestermere and Langdon. After nearly a decade of publishing Macaroni KID Chestermere, Kim rebranded and launched Little Lake Locals in 2025 to keep families connected to local events and causes.

Kim is the driving force behind beloved events like Chestermere Energizer Night, Trunk or Treat, Light the Lake, and the Chestermere Children’s Festival. She also co-organizes initiatives with local non-profits, donates domain hosting to 100 Who Care Chestermere, and sponsors promotions for community fundraisers. Through its event calendar, newsletter, and social platforms, Little Lake Locals amplifies countless local programs, helping them reach more families, attract volunteers, and strengthen community connections across the region.

Chestermere Mobile Massage is a trusted source of care and connection in Chestermere, Langdon, and Conrich. Owned by Shaunna Ruddock-Sapao, this mobile business brings personalized, professional massage therapy directly to clients’ homes, supporting seniors, busy families, and individuals with mobility challenges. 

Beyond wellness, they actively give back by donating to Indus Ringette, local food banks, and silent auctions, and participating in events like Chestermere Moves and the Mental Health Fair. Their collaborations with local businesses and commitment to accessibility make them a shining example of community spirit and heart.

Langdon Community Pet Co

Langdon Community Pet Co., owned by Connie Turnbull, is both pet supply shop and community hub of care and compassion. Connie actively supports local rescues by donating kibble and treats, hosting adoption events, and organizing pet photo fundraisers. The shop works closely with the Langdon Food Bank and even serves as a safe meeting point for surrendered dogs.

From volunteering at Langdon Days to sponsoring Art Night, collaborating with other boardwalk businesses, and supporting youth through the Chestermer High work experience program, Langdon Community Pet Co. gives back wholeheartedly.
