Stage 2 (completed): Unleashing the Potential of Metal Fabrication
Objectives:
1) develop a metal fabrication industry growth ”business case” defining key action steps from the labour perspective (this is targeted to the Labour Market Partnership grant to develop this industry's labourforce),
2) to modify targeted education programs to meet the employment needs of the metal fabrication industry, and
3) support the cooperation of metal fabrication industry professionals.
Total projected cost:
$66,000 (includes in-kind services)

- Skills Metal Fabricators Inc. from Bassano – Industry Steward,

- City of Brooks/County of Newell,
- Rocky View County,
- Wheatland County,
- Bow Valley College,
- Olds College, and
- Factor 5 (consultant hired to coordinate project).
